Requiem for a Pandemic was composed during the autumn of 2020, the year of Covid 19. The work was originally scored for soprano (preferably treble) and SATB (preferably all male) and organ.
The lyrics used are of the standard Latin Requiem. To render sounds from Sibelius, which produces a horrid, 'Bon Tempi,' sound, I used Note Performer 3. Note Performer 3 has great samples for everything but voices and so the rendition is rather robotic. For this reason I arranged a version for organ and trumpet which is also available here.
